Biography

David Bernstein has been an attorney since 1983, personally representing over 1000 clients who have been injured or killed, or who have been treated unfairly by an insurance company. Mr. Bernstein’s law practice is limited to truck collisions, injury claims, death claims, on-the-job injuries, product defects, product recalls and insurance-related matters.

Very few attorneys actually try and win personal injury and insurance cases. Mr. Bernstein has successfully tried many personal injury cases and insurance cases for nearly 3 decades, and he loves the challenge of trying cases against insurance companies and major corporations.

For over 20 years, Mr. Bernstein has taught lawyers and insurance adjusters at numerous legal seminars regarding many of his trial techniques and knowledge of insurance law, truck collisions and personal injury law.

Mr. Bernstein has obtained many 6 figure and 7 figure settlements and verdicts on behalf of his clients, including a jury verdict in excess of $9 million.

Mr. Bernstein is dedicated to sharing his professional knowledge and experience.  For more than 2 decades, Mr. Bernstein has presented seminars to both attorneys and insurance adjusters on behalf of the Oklahoma Bar Association, the Oklahoma Trial Lawyers Association, the University of Oklahoma College of Law, the National Business Institute (NBI) and the Cleveland County Bar Association on topics related to his practice, including:

Community Involvement

Mr. Bernstein was born and raised in Norman and received his law degree from the University of Oklahoma College of Law. He is active in the community, having served at the Mayor’s request on the inaugural board of the Norman Historic District Commission. In addition, Mr. Bernstein is a co-founder of Lawyers Against Hunger, Inc., a newly formed 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation whose mission is to help feed the hungry. (In October and November, Lawyers Against Hunger raised over $60,000 to purchase turkeys to hand out to those in need so they could enjoy a Thanksgiving meal). Mr. Bernstein and Bernstein Law Firm also support many charitable organizations, including the United Way, the National MS Society – Oklahoma Chapter and the Oklahoma Lawyers for Children.
